MEET THE ARTIST

Gaby is a U.S. based, multimedia artist from Hoboken, NJ and Westerly, RI. Right now, she mainly works with oil paint, watercolors, leather/ fabric paint, and pen and ink; and paints everything from portraits to custom wedding stationery; on every surface from handbags and shoes to ceramics.

 

Gaby has always had a love for art; she grew up in a home and school environment, where creativity was always encouraged; so Gaby has been creating art for as long as she could hold a pencil. 

 

In May of 2024, Gaby graduated from the University of Rhode Island, after studying Marketing and Fine Arts. Her artwork has been the recipient of a Scholastic Silver Key Art Award and she has a piece of her work is permanently on display in the Westerly High School as a part of their Legacy Piece Collection. 

 

Although it is somewhat of an uncommon practice for artists, Gaby is a multimedia artist simply because she loves to experiment and challenge herself! Working with various mediums and subjects allows her to create pieces she is always excited about!
