THE VINTAGE VALET COLLECTION
Welcome to the Vintage Valet!
This collection showcases 7 luxury cars Gaby has not previously drawn before; with each car drawn one dot at a time using the pointillism technique.
Valet parking first appeared in Paris in the 1700s, as a service aristocrats provided to meet the needs of their wealthy guests; giving them a further sense of luxury and convenience while attending a party or event. Upon driving up, guests would be greeted by a well dressed valet person, who would open their door and park their car for them, exchanging their key for a valet slip, to return for guest’s car at the end of the night.
"I imagine each car in this collection has experienced quite a few valets in their day. I can envision each car driving down a long driveway towards a huge mansion with a grand entranceway and being greeted by a valet person in a black and white suit. I wish I had a time travel machine to experience each extravagant event they attended! I’m sure they were nothing short of spectacular party scenes like in the Great Gatsby (which also happens to be one of my favorite stories)!"
Like all the vintage cars in this collection and the brands they represent, valets still embody a sense of luxury and grandeur to this day.
Drive on up and enjoy!

1979
LAMBORGHINI
COUNTACH
This model pioneered and popularized the sharp, front "Italian Wedge" shape of the car; meant to have a futuristic style and be the successor to the Lamborghini Muira.
All of its unique features including Gaby's favorite part (the vertical doors) made the Countach the perfect car to start off this collection!
1954
MASERATI
A6GCS BY FIANDRI & MALAGOLI
The first racing sports car of this collection! This model is a derivative of the M6 model and was initially developed for Formula 2.
Unlike this 1/1 piece, only 52 of these Maseratis were made and one of the last models designed by the Maserati Brothers.
1937
ROLLS-ROYCE
25/30
This model is the embodiment of a classic vintage Rolls-Royce. It was originally designed to handle Britain’s narrow and busy streets and has a top speed of 80 mph.
The 25/30 has a different body type than the other cars in this collection making it especially unique! Gaby particularly loves the close up view of the front grill, headlights and hood ornament in this piece!
1969
MCLAREN
M6GT COUPE
The first road legal car made by the traditional racing car company, which features a particularly interesting long headlights and wedge design, is only 1/3 ever made.
The original version of the 1969 M6GT Coupe was painted with the signature McLaren orange, chosen to stand out on the race track and some say to even honor a sponsor’s livery.
1938
BUGATTI
57SC ATLANTIC
Known as the "Mona Lisa of Cars" this Bugatti is one of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world, with only 4 ever being made and 3/4 known to have survived.
One of which is owned by world renowned fashion icon Ralph Lauren, another owned by Jean Bugatti himself, which disappeared seemingly without a trace and the 3rd was hit by a train.
1952
BENTLEY MARK VI COACHBUILT
2 DOOR DROPHEAD COUPE
This car was originally built in the last year of a 6 year production of several Mark VI models.
The Mark VIs proved to be a long term success, with their biggest weakness being attributed to inferior steels used, caused by the government’s post war controls.
1976
PORSCHE
911 TURBO CARRERA
The Porsche 911 is arguably one of the most notable luxury cars and remains the epitome of timeless automotive design. It was originally, internally named the 930.
The first Porsche 911 was designed by F.A. Porsche, the son of the owner: Ferry Porsche. Since its launch in 1975, the 911 Turbo has been the top of the range model in the 911 line.
